Notes from Guatemala
This is not a post about observations in a foreign culture. But I just finished “Hero With A Thousand Faces”, and I wanted to write my notes here, as it deals with how to structure plays.
“The Call To Adventure”
Thus it happens, in this fairy tale, that the disappearance of the ball is the first sign of something coming for the princess, the frog is the second, and the unconsidered promise is the third (p51)
So how many ‘signs’ make a good intrusion? And what would that look like?
